Projects
Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide.  Below are the projects in which we are currently involved:

Chicken Barbecue Dan Emmett Days our biggest fund raiser that contributes the majority of our actvities budget the goal is usually 1800 - 2000 halves of chicken from 12 noon till 4 pm Course the day starts at 7;00 am Dennis Murray
Child Seat Inspection Kiwanis and Health Department will have Child Car Seat Inspections in the Parking lot of K Mart 12 noon till six David Bouchard
Coats for Kids We assist Gault's Cleaners in announcing and soliciting good used coats to be cleaned and offered to Salvation Army and InterChurch for those less fortunate than ourselves. David Bouchard
Invitational Cross Country Meet Cross Country Invitational Track Meet, sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon. John Fair
kenyon athletic concessions Winter Sports kenyon Basket Ball Concessions or kenyon Volleyball or Swimming John Hatfield
Knox County Fair Collecting Tickets working 4 hr shifts at three different gates collecting tickets to those attending the County Fair during July David Bouchard
Knox County Fair Ticket Taking 10 - 12 people working three gates taking the tickets that the Exchange Club sells to Fair goers. David Bouchard
Relay for Life at Fredericktown High School Particiapnts do laps around the high school track from June 23 at 6pm through June 24th at 12 noon. Get pledges to donate to the American Cancer Association Vickie Kinney
